Join us for Dressage Exhibition Saturday; Polo by the Bay Sunday!

It's the final weekend of the 2009 Horse Shows by the Bay equestrian festival, and our two showcase events are this weekend.

Please pack a picnic, bring the family, and join us at Flintfields Horse Park in Williamsburg for one (or both!) of our feature events:
 

Saturday

Dressage by the Bay competition, 8am-5pm: All day long, you'll witness some of the nation's premier competitors in dressage, a sport considered the "figure skating of the equestrian world," where grace, beauty and skill are judged and the horse and rider perform elegantly.

Dressage Musical Freestyle Competition, 5-7pm: This will be an evening of grand entertainment, as dressage is put to music and on display. For those who haven't yet witnessed the incredible skills and movements of dressage horses, this is an event you'll want to check out.
 

Sunday

Second Annual Polo by the Bay, noon-4pm: Our biggest and most popular event last year is back again, and promises to be even better! Come out and watch Team Elmer's vs. Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel in a match between two talented, co-ed polo teams. It will be a spectacle not to me missed, including great sport, our hat contest with prizes, and more.

Our Grand Prix ring features tiered, ampitheater-style grass seating area, perfect for picnics, blankets, and the entire family.

Tickets are $10 per person for admission to an entire single day and evening's events, or $25 for a seat under our Special Events tent.
